Knockout! Watch Henry Corrales upset Aaron Pico with comeback finish at Bellator 214

Aaron Pico suffered another first earlier tonight (Sat., Jan. 26, 2019) at Bellator 214 live on Paramount and DAZN from inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., when the rising blue-chip prospect lost to Henry Corrales via first-round knockout.

Pico looked good in the early going as he landed a huge uppercut that dropped Corrales to the canvas. Corrales somehow regrouped in time to defend a flurry of punches. Pico settled down for a moment before coming forward once again. Pico landed a few punches inside before a right hand counter by Corrales instantly slumped the young featherweight. Corrales landed a few follow-up shots before the referee stepped in for the stoppage.

With this performance, Corrales makes it five in a row since moving over to the MMA Lab after his loss to Patricio Freire in 2016. The 32-year-old veteran is looking better than ever and just knocked off one of the fastest rising names in MMA today. This type of finish over Pico will likely propel Corrales into immediate title contention.
