Rams vs Saints: Los Angeles is headed to Super Bowl 53

NFL: NFC Championship Game-Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its UFC on ESPN+ 1 mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card, featuring Henry Cejudo’s flyweight championship victory over bantamweight import, TJ Dillashaw, inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York (video).

Now that it’s over, we can focus on the NFL playoffs, featuring two spectacular matchups pitting the New Orleans Saints against the Los Angeles Rams, while the New England Patriots battle the Kansas City Chiefs.

In an exciting, back-and-forth game inside Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, one that was forced into overtime, the Saints won the final coin toss, but fell to the Rams by way of field goal to lose by a score of 26-23.

Los Angeles moves on to compete at Super Bowl 53.

UFC frequently capitalizes on that weekend to hold a combat sports event the night before and 2019 will be no different, thanks to UFC on ESPN+ 2 “Assuncao vs. Moraes 2” on Sat., Feb. 2, inside Northeast Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil.
