Knockout! Watch Henry Cejudo slice through T.J. Dillashaw in 32 seconds at UFC Brooklyn

Henry Cejudo stunned the MMA universe last night (Sat., Jan. 19, 2018) at UFC on ESPN+ 1 from inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, when he put an end to UFC bantamweight champion in just 32 seconds to retain his flyweight title.

The main event bout didn’t take long to get going as Cejudo and Dillashaw met head on. Cejudo quickly pushed Dillashaw to the canvas and then clipped him with a right hand behind the ear. Dillshaw started to scramble and Cejudo followed suit with flurries of punches until the referee stepped in for the first-round TKO stoppage.

With this performance, Cejudo staves off Dillashaw’s attempt to claim a second UFC title and proves that keeping the flyweights around might not be that bad of an idea. Cejudo is certainly a more marketable fighter than Demetrious Johnson was so maybe UFC can use this victory over the popular Dillashaw to propel “Messenger” to the next level at 125 pounds.

If not, a rematch with Dillashaw at bantamweight could be the next move for Cejudo.
