Kevin Lee wants to throw knuckles with ‘disrespectful’ Jon Jones after ‘Bones’ dissed his fashion sense

Kevin Lee isn’t afraid to show off his unique fashion sense, as the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight title contender once wore a bullet proof vest to a fight night event in case shit got real.

But, when “The Motown Phenom” arrived for his fight against Al Iaquinta at UFC on FOX 31 in Dec. 2018 with a leopard-print fur coat, the scrappy 155-pounder opened himself for criticism from the online hecklers. Among them was current Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who took it upon himself to clown Lee for his choice in clothing, comparing it to a jacket similar to the one his daughter owns.

Lee wasn’t pleased.

“Make no mistake, I’m not afraid of shit. Even if imma take a L, i can’t let disrespect slide without retaliation,” he wrote on Instagram. “We can throw knuckles too, Jon. Sincerely, Mr. I don’t give a fuck.”

This seems like so long ago.

Indeed, Lee is known for not being afraid to rumble at the drop of a hat. Then again, neither is Jones. While the two men will obviously never face off inside the Octagon, let’s just hope they don’t run into each other at the local Walmart.

Lee is coming off a loss to Iaquinta, while Jones is riding high after knocking out Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232 last month to reclaim the 205-pound strap.

“Bones” will make a quick turnaround to face off against Anthony Smith at UFC 235 on March 2, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada. And it’s safe to say Lee will be rooting for “Lionheart” to pull out the “W.”
