With no Conor McGregor appearances on the horizon, there’s been a bit less hype for October 6th’s UFC 229 superfight against Khabib Nurmagomedov. Sure, Dana White is promising we’ll get two press conferences before the fight. But what are we to do right now?
Well, as an answer to that question, here’s three new promo videos for the McGregor vs. Nurmagomedov fight set to go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The clips debuted during Saturday night’s UFC 228 pay-per-view.
The first one minute promo video gets everyone up to speed on the rivalry between Conor and Khabib that exploded with the infamous UFC 223 bus attack in April. Lots of footage showing McGregor and his gang smashing up bus windows.
But if you ask us, this 30 second promo is even better. It doesn’t delve to deep into all that footage like the other video. Instead, they use a nifty dolly graphic to smash into the screen revealing Conor McGregor’s name. Slick and classy!
If you prefer your UFC 229 hype videos without the taint of McGregor’s criminal actions, this third promo is for you. Not a hint of the bus attack incident is shown. Just a whole lot of Conor KOs and Khabib smeshing.
No word on whether Mike Goldberg got any moolah from the UFC using his ‘Here we go’ slogan.
