UFC 228 bonuses: Tyron Woodley’s main event submission leads $50K winners

The action delivered in waves last night (Sat., Sept. 8, 2018) at UFC 228 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, as Tyron Woodley submitted a previously undefeated Darren Till via second-round D’Arce choke to retain his UFC welterweight championship.

In addition to the scintillating main event, women’s strawweight bruiser Jessica Andrade leveled former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz with a punch from hell, bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling scored an impressive kneebar finish over Cody Stamann, surging Russian featherweight Zabit Magomedsharipov scored the second kneebar finish of the evening against Brandon Davis, Geoff Neal landed a head kick for the ages in his matchup with Frank Camacho, Abdul Razak Alhassan put a whopping on Niko Price to spark the PPV main card, and bantamweight Irene Aldana outlasted Lucie Pudilova in one of the best female fights of the year.
