Video: Cops hunt ex-UFC fighter who cold-cocked victim in Denver bar fight

Unlike the Brazilian doppelgänger who was mistakenly identified as Junior dos Santos — probably based on the body count — this video may actually be former UFC and Bellator lightweight Melvin Guillard, who is wanted by police after creaming some hapless bar patron in Denver.

A warrant for his arrest was issued earlier this week, according to TMZ.

Guillard (32-21-2, 3 NC) parted ways with UFC back in 2014 and since then, his combat sports career has been nothing short of a disaster. The not-so-young “Assassin,” now 35, is just 1-8 (1 NC) over his last 10 fights and has been knocked out in his last four losses.

His most recent appearance resulted in a knockout defeat to Takanori Gomi under the RIZIN banner last July (watch the replay here).

Guillard, of course, is innocent until proven guilty, but this latest run-in with Johnny Law could be parlayed into more serious repercussions when you consider his past legal problems, which include assault charges and drug abuse.

Stay tuned to for more on this developing story as it happens.
