UFC really wants you to get drunk, adds Nemiroff vodka to expanding booze portfolio

Nemiroff

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) understands that most mixed martial arts (MMA) fans who fall within the promotion’s key demographic like to drink beer, which is why we’ve seen a bevy of brews sponsored inside the Octagon, including Mickey’s, Bud Light, and most recently, Modelo.

Though I can’t seem to remember the last time I saw someone order a vodka tonic at a live UFC event, which would make a weird chaser for those heart-stopping chili dogs, but I’m sure there must be a reason that Nemiroff vodka is becoming a sponsor. You know, other than bragging about being a sponsor for UFC.

“We’re really pleased to establish a partnership with UFC worldwide,” said Yuriy Sorochynskiy, Chief Executive Officer of Nemiroff. “The vision and values of UFC are highly relevant and parallel with Nemiroff’s brand DNA. By establishing Nemiroff as UFC’s Official Vodka Partner, we can align brand strategy and reach a wider market.”

“Brand DNA” is one of those phrases business folk like to toss around in meetings.

Expect Nemiroff to make its first appearance at the upcoming UFC 228 pay-per-view (PPV) event, headlined by the welterweight title fight between Tyron Woodley and Darren Till, which takes place this Saturday night (Sept. 8, 2018) inside American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
