As the name suggests, UFC 228 is headlined by the welterweight showdown between reigning 170-pound kingpin, Tyron Woodley, and undefeated title contender, Darren Till, who collide for “The Chosen One’s” division strap. In the UFC 228 championship co-headliner, Nicco Montano, was supposed to make her very first flyweight title defense against former bantamweight No. 1 contender, Valentina Shevchenko; however, The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 26 champion was hospitalized early Friday morning and eventually pulled from the card altogether for health-related concerns and then stripped of her belt.
