Quinton “Rampage” Jackson turned back the clock last night (Sat., Sept. 29, 2018) at Bellator 206 live on DAZN from inside SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., when he finished nemesis Wanderlei Silva via second-round TKO (punches).
This was the fourth fight in the rivalry of Jackson and Silva, with “Ax Murderer” winning two of the first three.
Despite being two former world champions past their primes, Jackson and Silva still put on a show in the co-main event. The two heavyweights stood in front of each other and waited to unload furious combinations. Each caught the other, but it was a “Rampage” right hand in the second round that finally put the Brazilian on his butt. A few more punches along the cage and the referee stepped in for the stoppage.

With this performance, Jackson secures his first knockout victory since finishing Christian M’Pumbu with once punch back in 2014. He was the bigger man tonight and certainly proved he stills possesses finishing power even at the age of 40. It was a nice throwback to early “Rampage.”
