Logan Paul’s UFC debut would end in murder, Dana White’s arrest

YouTube sensation Logan Paul, who suddenly thinks he’s a real fighter after his celebrity boxing match against another online personality, is not getting invited to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), regardless of how many pay-per-view (PPV) buys he can generate.

Probably because the last time promotion president Dana White took a chance on someone with zero cage fighting experience, it turned out to be an embarrassment for the (cough) “fighter” as well as the world’s leading mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion.

“That guy would get murdered here,” White told the combat sports media (via Bloody Elbow). “He would get hurt badly. If I ever let him fight in the UFC, I should be arrested. No hate for the kid. He’s built a great business for himself, great for him, it’s awesome. But trust me, don’t play around here. You will get hurt.”

Paul already has the endorsement of former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub, who recently praised the KSI boxing match — or perhaps just used it as an excuse to bash his former employer, something that appears to be a planned part of his regular podcast.

And while White is uncomfortable with the idea of having another freak-show fight inside the Octagon, it hasn't stopped fighters like “Sage Northbutt” from hopping on the headline train, for better or for worse.
