Video: See Conor McGregor’s most memorable press conference moments ahead of UFC 229 presser

New, comments

When you get a Conor McGregor fight lined up, your getting much more than the opportunity to see one of the best to ever do it compete. You get a show before the show, as the Irishman’s pre-fight press conferences are a spectacle all their own.

In the lead-up to the first-ever presser this Thursday (Sept. 20. 2018) to promote his looming return against Khabib Nurmagomedov in a highly-anticipated Lightweight title fight on October 6, 2018 (details), let’s take a look at the Irishman’s most memorable press conference moments.

And there were plenty to choose from, including showing up to the UFC 205 presser in an expensive mink coat, all while jacking Eddie Alvarez’s 155-pound title. And his world-wide tour prior to UFC 194 where he also took the opportunity to take Jose Aldo’s Featherweight title, too.

And of course, who can forget the “Who the fook is that” moment heard round the world? Still, there were a few moments that didn’t make the cut, like this one and this one.

As Conor and Khabib get prepped to meet eye-to-eye for the first time in a few days inside Radio City Music Hall in New York, N.Y., you can bet all eyes will be glued to computer screens (and the “Mega-Zilla” television screen) to see if we have another classic McGregor moment.

UFC 229: “Khabib vs McGregor” is set to go down on October 29, 2018 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. To learn more about that upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event click here.
