After a string of injuries and main card shake ups, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send late-addition Eryk Anders into enemy territory to battle hometown favorite and fellow headlining substitute Thiago Santos at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 137 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, which takes place this Sat. night (Sept. 22, 2018) inside Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. UFC Sao Paulo will also feature the light heavyweight showdown between “Smilin’” Sam Alvey and the aging Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, while streaking sophomore Carlo Pedersoli and Brazilian “Cowboy” Alex Oliveira collide for welterweight bragging rights in the night’s co-headliner.

Round 1: Saunders circling, neither throwing. Mores whiffs on a right hand, ties up, and takes Saunders to the mat. One minute in. Saunders trying to use rubber guard, surrenders half guard. Two minutes in. Moraes staying heavy and patient. Saunders looking to regain rubber guard. Two minutes to go.
Half guard for Moraes once again. One minute to go. Moraes in quarter guard, makes it to mount. High mount now. Looking to isolate an arm. Looking for an arm triangle, then transitions to an armbar. Saunders manages to hold on until the bell. 10-9 Moraes.
Round 2: Moraes catches a body kick for another takedown. Full guard against the fence. Saunders again looking for rubber guard a minute in. Moraes passes to half guard. Moraes patiently works his way to mount with half the round to work. Right hands from Moraes, looking for an arm triangle with two minutes to go.

Round 1: They exchange right hands to start. Robertson shoots from long range, eats an elbow for it. She keeps advancing, but eats a straight right as they break. Silva marching forward, but Robertson shoots under a right hand and immediately looks for mount. One minute in. Robertson in half guard. Hammerfists land for her and she ultimately makes it to side control two minutes in. Silva sweeps her way to her feet and lands a hard right hand. Spinning back kick after taking a right hand. Hard right crosses sting Robertson. Two minutes to go.
Robertson shoots once again, but Silva lands on top. Robertson looks for a heel hook. She uses it to sweep into guard, where they trade elbows. One minute to go. Robertson postures up, lands some elbows. Silva takes advantage of Robertson’s aggression to lock up an armbar, going belly-down for the finish.

Round 1: Leites sends out a head kick, misses. Tentative start, as expected. Leg kick from Lombard a minute in. Leites continuing to send out the head kick, eats a hard inside leg kick. Leites connects with a straight right two minutes in. Inside low kick from Lombard. Lombard overhand falls just short. Two minutes to go.

Round 2: Right hook lands for Lombard as they exchange. There is a huge knot on the side of Leites’ knee, which Lombard promptly kicks again. Straight right from Leites, who finally manages to get a takedown after eating a leg kick. Lombard pops right up and separates a minute in. Lombard catches a kick, can’t land the counter. Inside low kick from Leites, who connects with a looping right. Leites getting busier with his punches two minutes in. They trade hooks inside. Again after another Lombard leg kick. Lombard fires some short punches from the clinch, only for Leites to jump guard. He loses the sub, but stands up and clocks Lombard with a knee. Another knee. Head kick glances off Lombard’s face. Round 3: Lombard catches a body kick. Inside low kick lands for him. They clinch and trade short shots. Some good punches from Lombard, who gets double underhooks. More knees from Leites in return.
