What mixed martial arts (MMA) media blackout? Time to bring the HEAT!

With less than four weeks to go until UFC 229, which takes place inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Oct. 6, 2018, the world’s leading MMA organization has finally announced the start of its promotional push for “Khabib vs. McGregor.”

Lightweight kingpin, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and former 145- and 155-pound “champ-champ,” Conor McGregor, will descend on Radio City Music Hall in New York, N.Y., for the first pre-fight press conference next Thursday (Sept. 20, 2018) at 5 p.m. ET. The event will be closed to the public, but will be streamed live online here at

Better late than never.

Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor has already been hailed as the “biggest event in UFC history,” with company President Dana White suggesting that pay-per-view (PPV) buys could top three million (that’s a one million increase of White’s two million prediction just last month).

Regardless, UFC 229 and the return of McGregor is a really, really big deal. No matter what this guy tells you.
