Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will offer combat fight fans a championship doubleheader later tonight (Sat., Aug. 4, 2018) at UFC 227 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
UFC 227 will be headlined by the bantamweight grudge match between reigning 135-pound kingpin T.J. Dillashaw and ex-champion Cody Garbrandt, while offering a co-main event tilt between UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and former title challenger Henry Cejudo.
In preparation for the two title fight rematches, the promotion has released the latest and greatest episode of UFC 227 “Embedded,” which can be seen above in its entirety. This time around, the action focuses on final weight cuts, staredowns, and pre-fight preparations before the action unfolds this evening in L.A.

On Episode 5 of UFC 227 Embedded, athletes sound off at Ultimate Media Day before squaring off with their opponents: middleweights Kevin Holland and Thiago Santos; strawweights JJ Aldrich and Polyana Viana; flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo; and bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw and former champion Cody Garbrandt. Back at the host hotel, Garbrandt gets more celebrity support as Chuck Zito and Russell Peters stop by. Final weight cuts begin Thursday night for the fighters including featherweight foes Renato Moicano and Cub Swanson. Everyone makes weight on Friday morning, and a packed ceremonial weigh-in sets the stage for an incredible event.
