Demetrious Johnson vs Henry Cejudo full fight video preview for UFC 227 PPV co-main event

New, comments

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson, will defend his 125-pound title against top contender and former Olympic wrestler Henry Cejudo in the upcoming UFC 227 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event, scheduled for tonight (Sat., Aug. 4, 2018) inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

“The Messenger” will be delivered to “Mighty Mouse” for a second time, as Cejudo (12-2) was stopped by Johnson (27-2-1) at UFC 197 back in early 2016, succumbing to strikes in the very first round.

Johnson was being pressured to take a bout against bantamweight kingpin TJ Dillashaw, who was willing to cut down to 125 pounds to add a second strap to his collection; however, that fight didn’t pan out (because of this) and “The Viper” remains in the headlining spot opposite Cody Garbarandt.

Check out their fight video preview above. will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 227 fight card on fight night (click here), starting with the Fight Pass “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET, then the remaining undercard balance on FX at 8 p.m. ET, before the PPV main card start time at 10 p.m. ET.
