Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, will return from his one-year layoff to defend his 170-pound title when he battles top division contender, Darren Till, in the UFC 228 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, recently made official for Sat., Sept. 8, 2018 inside American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
In the UFC 228 co-headliner, also booked for five rounds, The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 26 champion, Nicco Montano, will make her very first flyweight title defense when she battles former bantamweight No. 1 contender, Valentina Shevchenko.
To help get the mixed martial arts (MMA) community amped for next month’s big event, the promotion has asked all four combatants to pick up the phone and dial in to today’s (Thurs., Aug. 30, 2018) UFC 228 media conference call, which gets underway promptly at 5 p.m. ET in the embedded audio player above.
