Bellator 208: “Fedor vs. Sonnen” takes place at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., on Oct. 13, 2018. The winner of the main event will determine one half of the finals for the Heavyweight Grand Prix as Pride FC legend Fedor Emelianenko (37-5, 1 NC) takes on “American Gangster” Chael Sonnen (31-15-1) in the Paramount Network-televised main event.

In addition, an interesting new Welterweight bout has been signed for the card that will see Peter Nascimento (0-1) take on the debuting Robson Gracie (0-0), brother of mixed martial arts (MMA) legend Renzo Gracie (14-7-1, 1 NC).

The 27-year-old Robson has been training at his brother’s academy in New York for some time, and prior to that trained with former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight champion Murilo Bustamante at Brazilian Top Team. It should be a cakewalk for Gracie given his opponent was finished in an non-televised Bellator 194 fight, but as with Aaron Pico’s debut, you just never know.
