Streaking Brazilian bantamweight Rani Yahya continued his winning ways earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 25, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 135 from inside Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, when he tapped out Luke Sanders via first-round heel hook submission.
Sanders didn’t stand much of a chance early as Yahya quickly tried to pull guard. It took a few attempts before the Brazilian got Sanders where he wanted him, but it eventually happened. Yahya quickly worked for a heel hook and Sanders couldn’t get away. He had nothing left to do but tap.

With this performance, Yahya extends his current win streak to three, finishing all via submission. The 33-year-old veteran has really hit his stride in the past year and is looking like a legitimate top 15 fighter. Possibly more.
