Mickey Gall made a triumphant return to the Octagon earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 25, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 135 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, by finishing George Sullivan via rear-naked choke in just 67 seconds.
Gall quickly shot out of the gate and closed the distance on the feet. He jumped on Sullivan’s back and dragged the veteran welterweight to the canvas. From there, Gall battled Sullivan for hand control before locking his arm under Sullivan’s chin and squeezing for dear life. Sullivan lasted a few seconds before tapping out.

With this performance, Gall jumps back into the 170-pound win column after getting beat down by Randy Brown back at UFC 217. The young prospect looked real good against Sullivan tonight in Lincoln, but he’s going to need more than just a good ground game to climb the slippery welterweight ladder.
