Deiveson Figueiredo remained undefeated earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 25, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 135 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, by putting a stop to former flyweight title challenger John Moraga via second-round TKO.
The hard-hitting Brazilian looked good from the opening bell, outpointing Moraga whenever the two mixed it up in close. It wasn’t until Figueiredo landed a brutal body shot in the second round that Moraga felt the true punching power of the undefeated contender and wilted under the pressure.

With this performance, Figueiredo pushes his professional record to 15-0 (4-0 UFC) and claims his third Octagon finish. The 30-year-old has already done enough to earn a No. 1 contender’s bout in the thin flyweight division so it will be interesting to see how the promotion handles the Brazilian heading into 2019.
