Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is bringing us a Lightweight showdown between two top contenders, as James Vick will face off against fellow banger Justin Gaethje in the main event of the UFC Fight Night 135 on Sat., Aug. 25, 2018 in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Jame Vick has been lobbying for his shot to headline a UFC card, and he will do just that against one of the most exciting fighters in any division, as Gaethje is known for pushing the pace without backing down an inch. And that’s just what he plans on doing when he faces off against “The Executioner,” who has racked up an impressive 9-1 mark inside the Octagon.
A gameplan that could be career-saving.
Vick will look to enter the title conversation should he be able to hand “The Highlight” his third straight defeat while earning his fifth straight victory, a win streak dating back to early 2017. UFC Fight Night 135 will also feature a co-main event between Andre Fili and Michael Johnson to be contested at 145 pounds, while Angela Hill takes on Cortney Casey in an interesting women’s strawweight showdown.
