Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight Bec Rawlings, who also did work at 125 pounds before parting ways with the world’s preeminent mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, has settled in to her new home at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
Already 1-0 under the glove-hating banner, thanks to her second-round knockout of Alma Garcia last June, Rawlings will make her return to the ring when she battles professional boxer Britain Hart on Aug. 25 in Biloxi, Mississippi.
”Bare knuckle was meant for me. I can’t wait to face off against Britain Hart on August 25th,” Rawlings said. “This sport is all about precision and I know she’s going to come to fight and try to take this momentum from me. I’m not going to let that happen.”
Joining her on this month’s card is fellow UFC veteran Chris Lytle.
BKFC 2: “A New Era” will be broadcast across the United States and Canada, exclusively on pay-per-view through MultiVision Media, Inc. on all major television and streaming distribution outlets for $29.95.
