Rizin 12 highlights! All the knockout and submission finishes from Nagoya, Japan

Rizin Fighting Federation 12 just wrapped up from Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Nagoya, Japan and by all accounts it was another excellent event with nary a boring fight to be seen. We’ve broken down all the action blow by blow in our Rizin 12 play-by-play, but MMA often needs to be seen to be believed so here’s all the finishes from the event in gif and video format.

In the main event, Wanderlei Silva acolyte Luiz Gustavo dominated and destroyed Yusuke Yachi in two rounds:

In the co-main, Yuki Motoya defeated Kazuma Sone with a tight rear naked choke in round two:

More chokes? No problem. Kiichi Kunimoto arm triangles Ryuichiro Sumimura and puts him to sleep in the first round:

Taiki Naito cut Hannya Hashimoto’s legs out from under him, winning via TKO in round two:

Mikuru Asakura destroyed Hatsu Hioki with a head kick and punch knockout in round one:

Roque Martinez won the swang and bang heavyweight tilt against Kiyoshi Kuwabara by TKO in round one:

Kanako Murata used her wrestling to crush former UFC villain Angela Magana and finish her off with a von Flue choke in round one:

Shintaro Matsukura KOing Takahiro Okuyama in the second round:
