The UFC 226 pay-per-view (PPV) event was weird, unpredictable, and utterly historic.
Light heavyweight and now heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, became just the second UFC fighter (behind Conor Mcgregor) to simultaneously hold two separate titles across two different divisions by knocking out fellow headliner Stipe Miocic.
His historic win, which took place last Saturday night (July 7, 2018) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, was followed up with a bizarre post-fight confrontation with Brock Lesnar, who became division No. 1 contender when Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou forgot how to throw a punch.
Sure, Curtis Blaydes is the No. 2-ranked heavyweight contender, but POLITICS BABY!!!
