Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its seventh annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night (Thurs., July 5, 2018) inside The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This year’s class included former UFC champions Ronda Rousey and Matt Serra, UFC Co-Founder Art Davie, longtime producer Bruce Connal, and Shogun Rua and Dan Henderson, who were honored for they legendary brawl at UFC 139 (more on that here).

“Because of you I’m the first woman up here accepting this incredible honor,” an emotional Rousey told the fans in attendance. “May I be the first of many. We changed what it means to fight like a girl.”

The ceremony took place as part of International Fight Week in “Sin City,” which also includes tonight’s Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Finale, also at The Pearl, as well as tomorrow night’s UFC 226 pay-per-view (PPV) event from inside T-Mobile Arena.
