Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, will return from his one-year layoff to (finally) defend his 170-pound title when he battles top division contender, Darren Till, in the UFC 228 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, recently made official for Sat., Sept. 8, 2018 inside American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
And he’ll do it as the odds-on favorite.
That’s according to our fiscal friends over at MMA Oddsbreaker, who numbered “The Chosen One” at -165. As for “The Gorilla,” he opened as the +135 underdog, though that line could dramatically shift once the money starts pouring in for both combatants.
Till was awarded the surprise title shot when interim welterweight champion, Colby Covington, failed to answer the call. “Chaos” took himself out of the equation to address a minor injury and is expected to be back in action by the end of the year.
