Dana White dropped over $1 million for son’s lavish birthday party — then kept spending

See? That silly Don Frye had it all wrong.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White didn’t ruin mixed martial arts (MMA) with his 30 Ferraris, he ruined it with just one Land Rover Defender, a customized (and super-rare) vehicle that came after his son Aidan’s lavish 16th birthday party.

One that came with a price tag of over $1 million.

“We’ve done nothing like this,” White told Las Vegas Review-Journal. “Not even close. We were wondering how we were going to top (son) Dana’s party, but we did it. They brought out the big red button and we hit that, and a bunch of those high-pressure steam cannons went off. That brought the crowd from the pool inside. It was awesome.”

See video of the birthday bash here.

I understand that White made his money and can spend it any way he pleases, but I think it’s hard to hear him make callous comments like this and perhaps even this when so many fighters are struggling to stay afloat.

And without their blood (or even worse) then White and Co. would have a dime.
