Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight veteran, Travis Browne, stands 6’7” and weighs north of 250 pounds, so if you couple his size with his scraggly beard, I’m thinking he might fit right in when WWE eventually resurrects The Wyatt Family.
Then “Hapa” can land that mixed tag match with his wife, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who joined the professional wrestling world earlier this year to rave reviews.
“She’s killing it, she’s taking over the world,” Browne told TMZ Sports. “She took over the UFC, she’s taking over the WWE. I’ll never say no to the possibility of going out there and wrestling. I’d love to go out there and work with my wife. That’d be so much fun. A mixed match? Oh yeah, it’d be fun. I wouldn’t say no.”
It wouldn’t be the first time Browne was linked to the squared circle.
The former contender could use a change of scenery. Despite a red-hot start to his combat sports career, which resulted in 14 straight fights without a defeat, “Hapa” has dropped five of his last six and got finished in four of those defeats.
Maybe he can hook up with WWE and finally settle that longstanding score with this heavyweight “Beast.”
