Who knew that “Fight of the Night” would take place in the stands?
That’s what happened during the debut of Professional Fighters League (PFL) last night (Thurs., June 7, 2018) inside Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, thanks to some help from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Kamaru Usman and manager Ali Abdelaziz.
Details have yet to emerge on what started the altercation, but Usman appears to land two shoves on someone in the stands, who then violates the bro code by rushing “The Nigerian Nightmare” after his back is turned.
That’s when all hell breaks loose and Abdelaziz starts unloading his agent fists of doom. As of this writing, both Usman and Abdelaziz have remained silent on social media and will probably continue to do so to avoid saying anything incriminating.
That being said, I admit it’s hard to believe there was a live event brawl that didn’t involve the Diaz brothers.
