Turns out “Moncton” is a real place and not that Japanese robot who keeps falling down stairs (not sure how I keep getting them confused).
That’s where Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will host its latest “Fight Night” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, courtesy of the brand-new Moncton Events Centre in New Brunswick, Canada, on Sat., Oct. 27, 2018, in what marks the promotion’s 11th Canadian city to host a UFC card.
“We are thrilled to bring the world-famous Octagon back to the Maritimes for our debut in Moncton,” David Shaw, UFC Senior Vice President, International and Content, said. “We can’t wait to showcase our world-class athletes, and the unbelievable energy and atmosphere of our events as part of the opening roster of acts at the new Moncton Events Centre this October.”
No bouts have been attacked to the card just yet, but it is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 with “Prelims” on UFC Fight Pass.
