Video: A detailed history of all the Diaz Brothers brawls

Nick and Nate Diaz have been rumbling with fighters outside of the cage for over a decade. Here’s their ‘greatest’ hits.

In the short but turbulent history of mixed martial arts, no one has built up more of a reputation for brawling outside of the confines of a properly regulated fight than the Diaz brothers. Nick and Nate aren’t the kind of guys to ignore a slight real or imagined, and over the years they’ve built up an ever-growing collection of fights with other fighters.

Let’s be clear: we’re not touching on the more troubling incidents where the two get into it with non-MMA fighters. This new exclusive video concentrates solely on their scraps with other properly trained professionals ... just not in a professional cage fighting match.

This collection was inspired by Nate Diaz’s recent run-in with Clay Guida at a Combate Americas show in Sacramento near the start of May 2018. But their behavior spans back all the way to 2005 when Nick Diaz cornered Diego Sanchez in a locker room before their fight at the Ultimate Fighter 2 finale, throwing a shoe at Diego “Nightmare / Dream / Lionheart” Sanchez.

From there we’ve got 10 more incidents involving the Diaz brothers, big and small, inside the cage and outside. We’re sure you’ll learn something from this, even if Nick and Nate haven’t.
