UFC Singapore medical suspensions: Eye, two others facing possible six-month sits

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was back on UFC Fight Pass last Saturday morning (June 23, 2018) with the UFC Fight Night 132 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which featured a welterweight main event between Leon Edwards and Donald Cerrone.

“Rocky” wrangled “Cowboy” by way of convincing unanimous decision.

In the UFC Fight Night 132 co-main event, held inside Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, light heavyweight contender Ovince Saint Preux tapped out Australian up-and-comer Tyson Pedro in a 205-pound clash of styles.

Because Singapore operates without a local athletic commission, UFC serves as its own regulatory body and is responsible for handing down medical suspensions, in line with the standards set forth in the promotion’s home base of Nevada.
