Bisping: I deserve UFC hall of fame, but I’m too embarrassed to ask for it

Does Michael Bisping deserve a spot in the UFC hall of fame?

His credentials certainly earn him consideration. “The Count” did just about everything he set out to accomplish in his mixed martial arts (MMA) career, starting with the glass trophy on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season three.

Just don’t expect him to lobby for a spot in the hallowed hall.

“It’s not something I’m campaigning for or anything like that,” Bisping told MMAnytt. “That’s not something you campaign for. That’s embarrassing. It’s up to the UFC to recognize that. I’d like to think so, I’ve put the work in and I think I deserve it but that’s down to the UFC.”

Bisping (30-9) helped the promotion break into Europe back in the early days and captured the middleweight crown by stopping Luke Rockhold at UFC 199. “The Count” also holds wins over Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson, just to name a few.

How about it, fight fans, is Bisping hall of fame bound?
