Tai Tuivasa wants revenge for Mark Hunt by taking out ‘juiced up’ Brock Lesnar

Tai Tuivasa’s Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) career has started off as well as expected, going 3-0 in his first trio of outings inside the Octagon including scoring a huge win over former Heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski at UFC 225 a few weeks ago.

But the Aussie isn’t planning on slowing down anytime soon, telling Submission Radio he’s on the quest to climb the ladder all while getting some revenge for his good friend and fellow Heavyweight, Mark Hunt.

And that includes possibly facing off against someone like Brock Lesnar, who could return to the Octagon sometime down the road.

“Hell yeah. It’s a money fight. I’m in this for the money, I’m in this so my family can do good, you know what I mean? So, of course (I’d fight him). With the money, obviously who wouldn’t want to fight Brock Lesnar? And I’d love to get one back on him for my boy (Mark Hunt).” said Tai.

Lesnar defeated Hunt back at UFC 200 via unanimous decision, though the win was later overturned to a no contest after Brock failed multiple drug tests. And you won’t convince Tuivasa Lesnar isn’t fighting dirty.

“Everyone knows he’s fucking on the juice. That’s not (a secret). You can ask a 10 year old kid and they’ll probably tell you that. It’s obvious. He’s probably one of the biggest humans I’ve ever seen in real life. He’s huge. But that doesn’t mean… if I’m gonna get paid and I’ll fight him,” he added.

While that would be a tough fight to land, Tai does have other options to consider that would fulfill his requisites, including facing off against another longtime veteran in Alistair Overeem, a man who knockout “Super Samoan” out at UFC 209.

“There’s all them boys that I want to get some payback for. Overeem, all those boys. I was there in the corner (when Overeem knocked Mark Hunt out), so I think of that as well.”

The shoey-loving big man definitely has a bright future ahead of him at just 25 years of age, but for our taste we’d like to see him face off against the winner of this upcoming matchup. But based on Tai’s comments, Stipe Miocic, Fabricio Werdum and Curtis Blaydes have been put on notice.
