Dana White just made history with his “Tuesday Night Contender Series,” handing out four Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contracts after last night’s (June 19, 2018) mixed martial arts (MMA) action inside The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) gym in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The lucky winners are Ryan “Superman” Spann, Matt “Robo” Sayles, Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez, and Dwight Grant.
Spann (14-5) submitted Emiliano Sordi in under 30 seconds of the very first frame to earn his way into the promotion, while Sayles (7-1) also got the job done in the opening round, planishing Yazan Hajeh with some wicked punches.
Hernandez (7-0) delivered a blistering knockout punch to crush the dreams of Jordan Wright just 40 seconds into the fight, whereas Tyler Hill survived until the second stanza before getting put down by Grant (8-1).
The weekly MMA series on UFC Fight Pass has delivered some pretty impressive fights in season two, so expect this platform to stay afloat for foreseeable future. Not sure we can say the same about this.
