Bare Knuckle FC complete guide: Who is fighting, how to watch, and more!

One of the sickest combat sports events will unfold later tonight (Sat., June 2, 2018) as the first-ever Bare Knuckle FC card goes down live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Cheyenne Ice and Events Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

It will be the first state sanctioned bare-knuckle fight card in the United States since 1889. That’s insane.

In effort to prepare fight fans for the impending chaos, we’ve compiled all the necessary information for Bare Knuckle FC, including how to watch the action from the comfort of your own home, who is fighting on the ground-breaking card, and all the intangibles that go into a bare-knuckle beatdown.

Enjoy!

Who Is Fighting?

The most recognizable names on tonight’s Bare Knuckle FC card are former UFC fighters Ricco Rodriguez and Bec Rawlings.

Rodriguez, 40, is a former UFC heavyweight champion who holds wins over the likes of Randy Couture, Andrei Arlovski, Jeff Monson, and Pete Williams. The heavyweight veteran has lost four out of his last five fights so he’ll be looking to impress tonight against Lewis Rumsey in the main event.

Rawlings, 29, was released by UFC last month after losing her last four Octagon appearances, which came against notable competition like Tecia Torres, Paige VanZant, and Ashlee Evans-Smith. The former Ultimate Fighter participant hasn’t lived up to her career hype so hopefully a change in scenery can rejuvenate “Rowdy.” She will take on Alma Garcia in the co-main event.

The complete fight card is as follows:

Ricco Rodriguez vs. Lewis Rumsey
Bec Rawlings vs. Alma Garcia
Eric Prindle vs. Sam Shewmaker
Bobby Gunn vs. Irineu Beato Costa Jr.
Johnny Bedford vs. Nick Mamalis
Reggie Barnett vs. Travis Thompson
Maurice Jackson vs. Dale Sopi
Estevan Payan vs. Omar Avelar
Arnold Adams vs. DJ Linderman

Only time will tell how successful Bare Knuckle FC can be in a market dominated by UFC and boxing, but it’s going to be interesting to say the least. If all goes well, this could really be just the tip of the iceberg.
