Video: Here’s how hands will be wrapped for tonight’s Bare Knuckle FC event

Fight fans are in for a treat later tonight (Sat., June 2, 2018) when Bare Knuckle FC touches down live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Cheyenne Ice and Events Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming,

The event is truly a ground-breaking occasion, marking the first state sanctioned bare-knuckle card in the United States since 1889. That’s nearly 130 years for those of you counting.

While the bouts will resemble that of a boxing match, the fighters will reportedly have more freedom inside of the clinch. This could lead to more crushing body work, bone-crunching uppercuts, and blood-splattering combinations.

Considering this is the first event of its kind in over a century, fight fans may not be familiar with the way hands are wrapped. This is going to be a bare knuckle beatdown, but some wrapping is still involved.

Check out the above video (courtesy of MMA Fighting) to get a better sense of how the fighters will be prepared leading into tonight’s historic PPV.

Fight fans really don’t know what to expect once Bare Knuckle FC officially sets sail, but the action should deliver in spades, especially with former UFC veterans like Ricco Rodriguez and Bec Rawlings gracing the main card.
