Knockout! Watch Walt Harris batter Daniel Spitz at UFC Utica

Heavyweight knockout artist Walt Harris became the first fighter to finish prospect Daniel Spitz earlier tonight (Fri., June 1, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 131 from inside Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y., when he put an end to “Daddy Long Legs” via second-round TKO.

Both men did little in the early going of this fight. But it only took one punch in the second round to change the course of the heavyweight scrap for good, as “Big Ticket” caught Spitz with a counter overhand left that put the young fighter in a daze. Harris followed with a barrage of strikes and ground-and-pound along the cage until the referee stepped in with moments left in the round.

With this performance, Harris gets back into the win column after losing to Fabricio Werdum via submission back at UFC 216 and then getting disqualified for an illegal head kick opposite Mark Godbeer at UFC 217. “Big Ticket” remains one of the best power punchers in the division and should continue to offer exciting results like this one.
