Chris Pratt, Jurassic World and Infinity War hero, explains why Bellator 200 was ‘like a dream’

When Dr. Strange told Tony Stark that only one in 14 million scenarios would result in a victory for the Avengers, tasked with defeating Thanos in the summer blockbuster Infinity War, he may as well have been talking about the chances of Chris Pratt ending up cageside with Michael Page.

See a photo of the dynamic duo here.

“Venom” was on the fence about purchasing his Gauntlet prop and did not decide to wear it until shortly before his victory at Bellator 200, which came at the expense of David “Caveman” Rickels last month in London, England.

Who wasn’t feeling “Blue” this time around.

Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in the Marvel superhero movie, as well as Owen Grady in this weekend’s Jurassic World sequel, was invited to the mixed martial arts (MMA) event by a friend, which landed him next to Scott Coker’s bestie-of-the-month, 50 Cent.

It’s the stuff dreams are made of, according to the box-office champ (via MMA Junkie):

“I was just having the time of my life. And the guy who won, this champion named Michael ‘Venom’ Page, comes out, and they bring him an Infinity Gauntlet. They slide it on his hand, and he’s the victor, and he looks and notices me and points to me outside of the cage.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent is playing, and 50 Cent is right next to me. And the guy’s got an Infinity Gauntlet. It was like deja-vu. It was one of those moments where your life and your destiny intersect. It was just the craziest thing. I thought for certain I was going to wake up. Part of me was like ‘Oh crap, this is a dream, I’m gonna wake up living in a tent.”

I wonder if it was the oxygen tent inhabited by Dada 5000.

Page, 31, remains perfect in his combat sports career. After racking up a 13-0 record inside the cage, “Venom” tried his hand(s) at the “sweet science,” where he is now 2-0 after last weekend’s laugher over the grotesquely outmatched Michal Ciach.

Pratt, meanwhile, will look to deliver yet another knockout at this weekend’s box office, along with a little help from his Dino-buddies.
