Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is bringing a championship doubleheader to “Sin City” courtesy of the UFC 226 pay-per-view (PPV) event, locked and loaded for Sat., July 7, 2018 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Headlining the mixed martial arts (MMA) extravaganza, which caps off the annual “International Fight Week,” will be the heavyweight showdown pitting reigning 265-pound kingpin Stipe Miocic opposite light heavyweight titleholder Daniel Cormier.

Charged with officiating their five-round affair is veteran man in black, Marc Goddard, while judges Dave Hagen, Chris Lee, and Glenn Trowbridge score the bout from cageside.

In the UFC 226 co-main event, featherweight sensation Brian Ortega will try to capture the division crown against 145-pound kingpin, Max Holloway. The third man inside the cage will be longtime referee Herb Dean.

Judges Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato, and Junichiro Kamijo, make or break the decision.

Miocic and Cormier are currently wrapping up their coaching duties (not in real time, mind you), on season 27 of The Ultimate Fighter. Ortega, meanwhile, has been waiting for Holloway to return from injury.
