Dana White’s “Tuesday Night Contender Series” returns tonight (June 12, 2018) on Fight Pass, bringing another 10 mixed martial arts (MMA) hopefuls into The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) gym at 8 p.m. ET. In the main event, Alonzo Menifield returns to the program against undefeated (3-0) Dashawn Boatwright, while CES Middleweight champion Sean Lally takes on Chris Curtis in the co-feature. The real story, however, is former National Football League (NFL) star and accused domestic abuser, Greg Hardy, making his professional MMA debut against Austen Lane.

Round one: Menifield counters a head kick with a right hand to drop Boatwright, following up with punches until the ref steps in. Looked a bit early to mee.

170 lbs.: Chris Curtis vs. Sean Lally
Round one: Tentative start, neither landing clean. Lally the busier so far. One minute in. Low kick lands for Lally. Good body shots from Curtis against the fence. Two minutes in. Left hands by Curtis, Lally answers with a right uppercut. Long left by Lally. Two minutes to go.
Lally still the busier of the two, not landing clean. Lead right lands for him. Head kick attempt, straight left by Curtis in return. 1-1-2 connects for Curtis, 1-2 with a minute to go. Looping left connects for Lally, then a tighter hook upstairs. Lally uppercut. 10-9 Lally on volume.
Round two: Low kick from Lally, straight left by Curtis. Counter jab catches Lally moving in. Low kick by Lally again. Curtis slips some shots, shakes his head, lands a straight left. One minute in. Uppercut and hook by Lally. Curtis catches Lally with a hard 1-2 on the fence, then another and a knee behind it. Two minutes in. Curtis straight left met by an uppercut. Check hook by Curtis, straight left. Curtis pops him with a left, eats a jab, goes to the body. Two minutes to go.
Curtis again lands the straight left. 1-2 on the fence. One minute to go. Hard right hand catches Curtis leaning in. Southpaw jabs from Curtis. Yet more. Good left to the body, more jabs upstairs. 10-9 Curtis.
Round three: Lally coming out aggressively, pushing Curtis back. Hard body kick by Lally, straight left downstairs by Curtis. Upstairs this time, another body blow by Curtis. One minute in. Suddenly, a hook kick drops Lally hard. Curtis clubs him with right hands until the ref steps in.
Final result: Curtis def. Lally by TKO (hook kick and punches)
265 lbs.: Greg Hardy vs. Austen Lane
Round one: Early right hand from Hardy and they start trading. Lane takes a finger in the eye. 1-1-2 by Lane. Good right hand by Hardy, then a right cross that knocks Lane 99% out. Lane pops back up on reflex, then gets slept by a left.
Final result: Hardy def. Lane by KO (punches)
135 lbs.: Montel Jackson vs. Rico DiSciullo
Round one: DiSciullo opens with a leg kick, tries a Superman punch. Wheel kick falls short. One minute in. Not much from Jackson so far while DiSciullo tries a grab-bag of strikes. Leg kick by DiSciullo. Jackson fires a body kick, eats one in return. DiSciullo tries an elbow and avoids a knee. 1-2 by Jackson appears to ding DiSciullo’s eye. Jackson on the attack, firing knees and punches. 1-2 drops DiSciullo and Jackson goes to work with punches and hammerfists. DiSciullo gets to his knees, trying to stand. Jackson fires an elbow to the back of the head. Herb Dean takes a point. Two minutes to go.
DiSciullo fires low kicks, then a jumping spin kick. Leg kick connects. Jackson fires a knee and his foot connects with DiSciullo’s groin. One minute to go. Back to the action. Counter right by DiSciullo. Jackson comes back with a 1-2. DiSciullo shoots, stuffed. Leg kick lands. 9-9.
Round two: Low kick by DiSciullo. Jackson fires a head kick, eats another low kick. Jackson catches DiSciullo spinning and grabs a rear waist lock. DiSciullo scrambling well so far, eats punches against the fence. DiSciullo on his knees two minutes in. Hard knee to the body by Jackson, who avoids a kimura attempt and slams him into side control. DiSciullo gets out the crucifix, eats right hands. He rolls and Jackson looks to set up a front choke. Two minutes to go.
Good shots by Jackson. DiSciullo back to his knees, working his way up. He rolls for a kneebar with a minute to go. Jackson easily avoids it and stays heavy. Some knees to the body by Jackson. 10-9 Jackson.
Round three: Jackson fires a head kick, avoids punches. Knee and left hand by Jackson, who eats a right hand in return. Stiff jab knocks DiSciullo back, he answers with a left hook. Chopping left catches DiSciullo swinging. One minute in. DiSciullo takes a finger in the eye. Another point from Jackson. DiSciullo staying aggressive. Hard knee catches DiSciullo leaning and Jackson tears into him with punches to the head and body. Two minutes in. Dean stops it on the feet.
Final result: Jackson def. DiSciullo by TKO (knee and punches)
185 lbs.: Kevin Holland vs. Will Santiago
Round one: Holland tries an early wheel kick. Leg kick connects. Combo falls short. Counter left hook appears to ring Holland’s bell, prompting a shot. Santiago stuffs it, but Holland continues to drive and gets him down against the cage. Santiago works his way up and lands a left hook as Holland rushes. Side kick and a hard knee by Holland. 1-2 connects. Another left hook by Santiago as Holland presses forward; looks to be his weapon of choice. Leg kick from Holland, then he tries some standing hammerfists. Holland avoids a flurry, lands some Judo Chop-looking strikes. Two-piece lands for him. One minute to go. Glancing flying knee by Holland, eats another check hook. Leg kick by Holland and a right cross at the bell. 10-9 Holland.
Round two: Holland trying some long-range blitzes and spinning strikes. Santiago ducks a head kick and fires a right hand a minute in. Lots a jab feints, combination by Holland. Two minutes in. Winging right hook connects for Santiago, who denies a takedown. More taunting by Holland. Side kick lands, right cross briefly drops Santiago. Holland tries some knees, lands a body kick. Front kick and right hand. Two minutes to go.
Santiago looks for a check hook. Holland sending out kicks and jabs. Flying knee attempt. One minute to go. Low kick. Santiago tries body shots, lands a left hok that draws a nod. Low kicks from Holland. 10-9 Holland.
Round three: Holland sends out kicks, gets clipped and dropped by a left hook. Santiago gets overeager and nearly gets his back taken as Holland comes back at him. Santiago starting to throw with urgency. One minute in. More taunting by Holland, including some Stockton Slaps. Two minutes in. Jabs from Holland, right hand downstairs. Santiago falls short with punches. Holland leisurely walking after him, trying some swatting punches. Santiago still struggling to reach his head. Two minutes to go.
3-2 from Holland connects. Right hand off a fake flying knee. Front kick and right cross. Holland looking to land around the guard. Santiago hits an easy double-leg, lands an uppercut on the way up, and shoots in again. They separate. Holland tries a flying guard pull, then an upkick. 10-9 Holland.
Final result: Holland def. Santiago by unanimous decision
