Highlights! Watch Crawford crush Horn in 9

New, comments

Terrence Crawford dominated in Las Vegas on Saturday night en route to a title winning finish over Jeff Horn.

It was a long night for Jeff Horn as the Australian boxer found himself being dismantled by Terence Crawford inside the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas on Saturday. Crawford was just too fast for Horn, using that speed to drop and stop Horn in the 9th round to claim the WBO welterweight title. The belt can be added to Crawford’s growing pile alongside the WBA super welterweight and IBF, WBC, WBO, and The Ring light welterweight belts.

Jeff Horn is best known for his shocking upset of Manny Pacquiao back in July of 2017, a decision victory many have said came from his hometown edge. Even if he’d made it to the final bell, Horn wouldn’t have come anywhere close to a win this time. Our guys at Bad Left Hook had the fight 80-72 for Crawford when things got stopped in the ninth round.

After the fight, Terrence Crawford declared his intent to hunt down the other champions at 147 pounds. Seeing this impressive performance, we think he put the welterweight division on notice.
