Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr., commonly known as Snoop Dogg, enjoys watching organized fighting, including MMA. He is a longtime weed-smoking friend of Nick Diaz, and even commentated Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender series show as part of the “Snoopcast” alongside former WEC champion Urijah Faber. He took a good deal of heat from professional fighters for that commentary, which was perceived by a number of fighters as disrespectful. What really ticked off a number of fighters, though, most notably Matt Brown, was a video he posted mocking Conor McGregor after Mayweather knocked him out.
The 49-year-old rapper is putting his hands where his mouth is, getting in the gym and training his boxing. While he doesn’t look great, exactly, he certainly looks better than a lot of 49-year-old strapping on gloves for the first times. He clearly has some understanding of boxing and is throwing his punches in combination, moving his head away from return punches. I’m not about to disparage anyone for going out there and actually training.
He probably shouldn’t take Matt Brown’s challenge at any time though, now or six months from now.
This is true. Covington has never really been about it.
Dos Anjos: You said you’re gonna say something to Joe Rogan's face? You’re a fraud. You don’t say anything when you see someone in person. You just look down. #UFC225— MMAFighting.com (@MMAFighting) May 31, 2018

Junior Dos Santos’ physical preparation for UFC Boise appears to be going well
Part 2 of @junior_cigano Physical Preparations for #ufcboise working on dynamic movement and explosive power drills with cognitive/anaerobic conditioning! Full video and focus breakdown with be on my channel http://www.youtube.com/c/PhilDaruStrong __________________________________ With just over 6 weeks until Cigano steps back in to fight in Boise my goal today was intro explosive power and proper movement efficiency from a dynamic and multidirectional pattern. His speed for a heavyweight is a very useful tool we aim to enhance that ability by bringing up proper biomechanics and proprioceptive qualities. In addition I want him to have the ability to be accurate and have impeccable timing on his shots under a fatigued state we practiced this with a collaboration of anaerobic conditioning and @fitlighttraining with @mrmentalmuscle __________________________________ For training program templates, seminar requests, ebooks, private consults, and podcast interviews you can DM or go to www.darustrong.com for info! @fightcampconditioning @fightscienceinstitute @overtimeathletes @apemanstrong #mmastrengthandconditioningcoach #mmastrengthandconditioning #cigano #jds #ufc #americantopteam #power #speed #movement #dynamics #mobility #proprioception #physicalpreparation #strengthandconditioning #strengthtraining #strengthcoach #darustrong

Mads Burnell may have fallen to a comeback ninja choke by Arnold Allen but he showed off some impressive skills- he’s one to watch at featherweight
My notes on stories from today: Darren Till should be a middleweight; 165 is the only new weight class I support; Cyborg taking anger management classes could be sketch comedy gold; Good on Till and Thompson for drawing the numbers and absolutely wowing the watching crowds; and anyone who didn’t think the Mountain could crush McGregor is sipping something strong.

If your team lost in overtime let this heal your soul or at least distract you from your pain at coming so close
