Video: Amanda Nunes retires Ronda Rousey in the most violent way possible

Then ruins the moment with that protracted shushy-face finger move.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight titleholder, Amanda Nunes, will put her 135-pound title on the line against top contender Raquel Pennington in the upcoming UFC 224 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, set for this Sat. night (May 12, 2018) inside Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

As we approach fight night, the world’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion is giving combat sports fans a sneak peek of what “Lioness” is capable of inside the Octagon, including her blistering first-round knockout win over former division champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 207. “Rowdy” looked utterly helpless against the Brazilian’s power punches and was so humiliated by the loss she quit combat sports.

A win for Nunes is likely to set up a Cris Cyborg super fight, assuming Nunes would be willing to jump up to the featherweight division, in much the same way Daniel Cormier returned to heavyweight for his Stipe Miocic title fight. I guess we’ll find out this weekend in Brazil.
