Midnight Mania! Jon Jones says he doesn’t need the belt to know he is champion

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Jon Jones knows he is the best light heavyweight in the world, and he doesn’t need a belt around his waist to prove it.

In a since-deleted tweet, Jones doubled down and expanded on the what he meant. He sees his current suspension as a dull but necessary interlude between what he has done and what he is going to do.

The suspension Jones currently faces, and the license revocation he underwent from the CSAC, is from his second USADA test failure for turinabol, a Cold War-era steroid. His previous suspension was also for Performance Enhancing Drugs (PEDs), which he claimed were for sexual performance enhancement. He has also routinely been in trouble out of the cage for things like his hit-and-run of a pregnant lady.

Inside the cage, though, he’s right: no one has been able to touch him. His old rival, current light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, attempts to put their rivalry behind him by winning the heavyweight crown from Stipe Miocic at UFC 226.

Joe Rogan says he believes Roseanne Barr when she blames ambien and drinking for her racist tweet. He also believes her claim that she didn’t realize the woman she was insulting was black.

Sara McMann put her career on hold for a newly announced pregnancy. Congratulations to her!

Lando Vannata and Drakkar Klose reacted to their fight booking in funny ways- Klose joked that his Ma didn’t raise no hoe, while Vannata made a Klose pun.

The UFC on ESPN deal is not about to fix the issues the UFC currently faces on Fox.

Fala meu povo! Hello my people Have you ever noticed that those who like to criticize others are the least ?! Are they always the weakest mentally and least successful ?! They are like this because they do not have the will and the courage to err, to fall and to rise. They prefer to speak ill of you, of whom you excel all the time, of whom you are focused and never give up. So the probability that you, with all the problems, difficulties and that persists in your dreams, of being successful, is much greater than that of the speaker, who is afraid to try. Successful people spiritually do not have time to judge or speak ill of someone, they are seeking to be better always. Kiss my people, good morning everyone!
