Grappling whiz kid Dillon Danis, who to date is still best known as “that guy who helped Conor McGregor train jiu-jitsu for his Nate Diaz rematch” — is hoping to make good on his promise to run Bellator MMA.
And follow in those “Notorious” footsteps at EA Sports.
To that end, “El Jefe” wants the Viacom-owned promotion to create its own mixed martial arts (MMA) video game, perhaps overlooking the fact that Bellator: “Onslaught” was released back in 2012 and was received about as well as the man who pushed for it. But hey, for $15, it actually wasn’t that bad (see it here).
“Bellator needs to make a video game,” Danis wrote on Twitter. “Who’s with me?”
Danis (1-0) made his successful cage fighting debut with a slick submission win over Kyle Walker at the Bellator 198 event last month in Chicago, which led to an impromptu callout of former welterweight champion Ben Askren.
Speaking of the retired “Funky” one, when are we getting that ONE Championship video game?
someone make a high quality one please lol pic.twitter.com/YRtv1rASTR
