Things weren’t looking to good at UFC Liverpool for Arnold Allen during his first UFC fight in over a year. Mads Burnell’s wrestling and control was on its way to earning the Danish fighter a win on the scorecards. But just past the halfway point of the third round, Allen turned things around and locked up a slick looking front choke that forced Burnell to tap.

That's a four-fight winstreak for the Englishman, only Ortega, Elkins, and Holloway have more in the featherweight division...

The win moves Allen to 4-0 in the UFC and 13-1 overall. The last two years of his career have been slowed down over criminal charges stemming from an outside the cage brawl back in 2016. After a prolonged absence during the trial, Allen once again had issues when he was unable to secure a US visa to fight at UFC 220. For now, he’ll have to fight in the UK, which is pretty all right for the fans there.
