It’s been a tough couple of years in the UFC for middleweight Darren “The Dentist” Stewart. His first fight and win in the UFC was overturned due to a headbutt, and then Stewart suffered three losses in a row. But the UK fighter managed to snap that streak at UFC Liverpool, knocking out Eric Spicely at 1:47 of round two in a back and forth affair.
Stewart was a bit tentative in round one, but a jab in round two landed flush dropping Spicely to the canvas where Stewart finished him with ground and pound. Afterwards he broke down in tears as his first win in five fights overwhelmed him.
