Be careful what you wish for. “Meatball” Molly McCann campaigned hard to make her UFC debut for the promotion’s trip to Liverpool, but it may have been a case of too much, too soon. Her opponent Gillian Robertson took advantage of McCann’s inexperience on the ground, nearly catching her UK opponent with an armbar in the first and then locking in a rear naked choke in the second to put McCann to sleep.

The win moved Gillian Robertson to 5-2 and 2-0 in the UFC ... shockingly enough, it also makes her the first women’s flyweight with two wins in the division.
